The upward pointing Arrows in the middle: Represent a pair of praying hands, which symbolize a response to the calling from above through humble prayers and spiritual submission.

The partially shaded part of the cross at the bottom: Gives the look of the final strokes in Chinese calligraphy, symbolizing the infusion of the Western cross into Chinese culture.

The ending paintbrush strokes: Their lively spirit with vitality represent the combination of lively theological thinking and missionary zeal in a rising manner.
